Does it work? When in the Lakes recently a local had a near immaculate bike on muddy trails and said it was down to Bike Protect. I spotted some Muc Off Urban Protect in Wilko recently and it it sounded very similar so thought I'd give it a go, made the bike lovely and shiny but sod all difference to stopping crap sticking to it. I'm not bothered about the shininess, is Bike Protect worth a go or is the South Downs clay just too sticky for anything to work?
its 50:50 IMO, if its just a wet day somewhere rocky, I have found it will help stop dirt sticking, if I go somewhere muddy or clay like it doesnt stop it but it does come off easier IMO.
Regardless of the above, I still use it, clean bike and then spray some on a microfibre and wipe the bike down to give it a nice shine.
tbh i fint that you have to lather the bike in it (which i do) and then leave it to dry. then it works. it also builds up over time so after the first can you get less muc 🙂
