i went with AQR who were really good. Used the lifts one day, but most of the trails required cycling to up the mountain! Not the same network of lift accessible runs as the alps in the summer i think.

Off there tonight. From the detective work I've done, there are several bike park places La Molina, Vallnord in Andorra, and loads of natural riding on Wikiloc, we're there for 2 weeks and don't expect to get bored!!

I've been boarding in Les Angles and I know they run the lifts and have a bike park

AQR seconded.

Been out there 5+ times, and really enjoy it. Great range of riding from easy flowy stuff to full bore nutter loon. (Fabien Pedmenaud started riding there last year, and liked it so much I think he's moved there. Russ the AQR chef rides with him quite a bit).

As HH said there is one lift, but most of the good stuff requires a pedal to get to it.

Ian is one of the best guides I've ridden with, and I'll happily travel to Luchon just for Russ' food. Sod the riding!

www.basquemtb.com

Definitely the place to go. They can do everything from van uplift to XC epics and all in between. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Cheers

Sanny

Ax 3 Domaines looked decent from the walking I did around there and there's a load more natural trail riding around the valley if you can find someone to tell you where to start (and can get an uplift).

And if you DO decide to go to Ax and need somewhere to stay, let me know, my cousin has an apartment to rent down there that's pretty cheap.

Ask me again in 3 weeks, we're off to AQR  Hoping we do a bit more uplifting than one day though.
