Going to brother in laws wedding in September in Austria. Hotel is on Lake Worthersee near Klagenfurt.
Me and my better half are thinking of doing some riding when we get there, anyone on here been there? Quick look on the map suggests it's in the foothils of the Alps, looking quite promising.
Our usual haunts are the North Downs / Leith Hill etc, where we ride XC full suss bikes, so we're wondering wether to take them with us and do some riding similar to the level that we're used to, or hire something a bit more capable and push ourselves a little more?
Whats the bike hire situation like out there? Any good places to stay and are there any ski lifts open in that area?
