Just taken delivery of said product and I am well impressed!

One thing I have noticed is that the battery is a bit bigger than those I have used before. I have tried it under the stem, and it fits. Just.

Mounting in the front triangle with the supplied bag results in the battery swinging around, though.

What do people generally do with this size of battery?

I mounted mine on the frame

But I used some of the Velcro which is supplied with the helmet mount to wrap around the seat tube to stop it swinging around ( probably see it in the photo )

I've used this all through winter descending and its not moved at all. Gonna put it through its paces again tomorrow hopefully with a night ride.

I also used a bit more of the Velcro on the main tube to secure the wire and a small piece on the gear cable as well running it upto the light.

My mate has same bike and light and Jams his battery into an old bottle cage and that is as secure as my set up.

I mount mine in the top pocket of my camelbak as it goes on my head - try it, it works incredibly well!

Probably get bashed for this, but mine is mounted on my handlebars. Bit awkward to mount on a Orange Clockwork frame due to the cable routing. May have to convert to full cable outers.
Awesome light. Used everyday in epileptic mode on my commute. May seem offensive to some, but at least no-one can claim to not seeing me.
Battery lasts forever on low power or strobe mode.
Overall excellent IMO.

I'm thinking of buying one of these lights. What's the general feedback?

I've already got a decent spotty type light for the lid, I want use the floody lumenator on the bars.

I like the top tube to seat tube junction with extra Velcro strap idea, so I'm going to try that first.

I've not done an actual night ride yet. In the garden, the beam pattern looks nice and wide without being wasteful.

The lamp unit is a lovely little piece of kit by the look of it.

There are at least three threads on here about them if you want to know, but the forum search doesn't seem to work too well at the moment.

You're better off googling mtbbatteries lumenator. This actually gives you more STW forums about this than the site forum search!

Helmet mounted here. Wire goes back wards across the top and I have a perfectly adjusted cable tie atbthe backmof my helmet which it threads through to stop flapping, then down into the battery pack which is stored in my camelbak.

Superb light btw. Since I've had one three of my mates have bought one too.
