Who fancies a Treasure Hunt on their bike?
Starting and Finishing at Selkirk Leisure Centre on Sunday 11th May SMBO have organised an event for everyone to enjoy.
MTB Treasure Hunt is simple and huge fun: do it Solo or Pair up with a mate. You've got a set period of time (3 hours) to visit as many Checkpoints (CPs) as you can. Each CP has a value, the ones that are furthest away usually have greater values.
The winner is the one who gets the most points. The map is already published in the links below and the Checkpoints will be accessible to most abilities with the fittest being able to collect all 30 checkpoints in the 3 hours.
Prizes for allocated to different categories and there’s home baking for you at the finish.
There’s even a discount for those who have not tried this before, so hang around for a few extra hours on your bike in the beautiful Ettrick Valley before you head home.
There’s a special Generations category so enter with your son/daughter for the chance to be on the podium or just come along for a pootle and some cake.
