Evening, in a fit of winter denying I have entered the Arabian Epic race in Oman which is in early March next year. I have done one stage race abroad last year, thoroughly enjoyed it and will likely do that one again.
Having been to the |Middle East with work occasionally I would expect that the racing might be a wee bit different to racing in Andalucia! Has anyone got any experience on the tracks in Oman, likely tyre choices, is it hard on brake pads, what spares are likely to be useful, chance of getting spares there. Appreciate any advice, help me to prepare for a long winter training in the icy wastes of NE Scotland :-).
