Has anyone done any skills training or coaching up in Inners? Planning to be there next month and need a little help with off camber roots and steep descents with multiple drops close together.

I know a couple of people that have improved after a trip to Dirtschool.

I have. Dirt school was fantastic. I did a day at glentress and a day at inners.

Best money I spent.

Both look awesome, cheers. Dates don't work but sure I can sort something out with one of them directly.

It's a while since I've done either but both were really good in the group stuff. I found the dirtschool approach to be more "coaching" and the ridelines approach a bit more "teaching/drilling"- I left the ridelines course already slightly better rider, I left the dirtschool course with a bunch of skills I could use to become a better rider.

So it's about you, really, because after the dirtschool courses I did not use those skills one bit 🙂 Meanwhile the ridelines stuff was already sticking. But a different person could easily get more from the "skillbuilding building" approach. I got much more from a one-on-one with Dirtschool and it was totally worth the extra, but again, for me, ymmv. TBH if I was to do the same now I'm not sure I could keep with the intensity of that, I was fit back then.

Both were really good though. And a good day out in its own right.

I can thoroughly recommend Liz Peacock ( http://www.trailskills.co.uk/), have had 1:1 at Thornilee and the Golfie. She is Dumfries based but will coach at Inners etc. Very experienced rider but above all a very good coach!

I’ve used both Ridelines and Dirtschool, and found Ben Cathro’s YouTube videos more useful than either. Not sure that helps too much

I did the above Ridelines one with pretty much the same goals as yours- highly recommended.

I've used Dirtschool and Ridelines.  Both good.  However, I would really recommend Trailtech ( https://www.trailtecuk.com/).   Ben is absolutely superb and can tailor a session specifically for you.  His rates are also extremely reasonable.
