£75 for a pair of 5 10s! get away.
Any suggestions for a decent pair south of 50 quid?

Have CRC got an cheapy Sombrios left?

I bought some mid tops for £20 and really, really like them. Grip is nearly 5:10 levels but with a stiffer sole, so better for pedalling.

+1 for AM41s. Had mine for 3 years and still going. Although my brother does refer to them as my 'special' shoes.

Obviously people have found their favourites, but I will chip in to say that 2 years ago I bought a pair of Karrimor hiking shoes from Sports Direct for 19.99, and they are not only still going strong, I use them to walk in as much as ride.

And they're waterproof.

Just a thought.

Cheers lads, the sombrios are out of stock for people with feet larger than 7.
