Hi.

I am visting the Quantock area with my MTB this weekend.

Has anyone a GPX file of a good loop I could download to my Garmin 800

Looking about a 3 - 4 hour XC ride, chilled not DH as just back from wrist injury - good views, climbs, nice singletrack.

Many thanks in advance

here is a loop starting at Holford on my Garmin connect http://connect.garmin.com/activity/255430843

or starting at Lydard Hill http://www.strava.com/activities/87030973 on my strava acount but not sure how you export from strava

The Quantock's are full of trails and bridleways so you can just turn up and follow your nose most people park at Holford, Lydard Hill, Great wood or Triscombe stone and all are safe parking.

Have fun

windy this weekend as a fairly large storm is headed our way (Sunday is gusting @50mph winds) so you may want to avoid the high traversing bits and stick to the combes. or plan it so you have majority wind behind!! (south-westerlies)

How do the Quantocks hold up in the winter?

I never been riding there and I'm thinking of heading over for a weekend sometime.
