I often listen to MTB Podcasts as I often have a lot of 1 hour+ drives (each way) to get to trails/trail centres from where I live and these can take the boredom out of it.

So far I have found:

Singletracks podcast (based in the USA)

Mountain Bikes Apart (Scotland based)

Mountain Bike Radio (USA)

James Wilson (USA) Bikejames.com

However I'm running out of finding anything interesting from the above as I've listened to all the best ones now, sometimes multiple times. Does anyone know of any other MTB Podcasts worth listening to other than the above ?

Always looking out for the next of these

Early ones were a bit variable on audio quality but mostly find them a good listen when driving, even the one with those knobs from Sick😘

+1 for Downtime Podcast

Vital MTB one is very good as well.

Both interviewers have a nice understated style.

The HKT (Hook-it) Podcast is worth checking out too.

but give their 'EWS or Bust' episodes a miss...

Hookit, Vital and Downtime are my choice.

I quite like the EWS or bust episodes, find it a nice perspective.

I would go the other way there.

HKT Podcast has some decent guests but the presenter drives me insane - terrible interviewer and loves talking about himself.

I've enjoyed the few Downtime episodes I've listened to, but it's not on Spotify so I tend to forget about it. The episodes I heard were a bit more performance based

I just listened to a few of the mountain bikes apart ones - really enjoyed them. Theoretically they were going to start a new season last September but it never seemed to happen or am I looking in the wrong place?

haha, yeah, rad dude, stoked etc... the best episodes are when he can barely get a word in! Olly Wilkins, Bret Tippee etc. the lesser charismatic guests are a struggle, unlike Downtime, the fella is not a rider, or even a particularly big fan of the sport so often comes across misinformed, which is pretty poor for a niche podcast.

i dont wanna sound too negative tho, i still listen religiously. its generally good.

I like the EWS or Bust episodes; it's a bit different and I like hearing about the racing from a privateer point of view.

I quite enjoy the normal HKT stuff too - normally listen to it whilst walking the dog.

Eh? Pretty sure Davi rides, he's just more into MX which is kind of a running joke now.

I find the common factor in MTB podcasts I've enjoyed is Cy Turner. So, Cy - start your own!

As well as the ones above and depending what types of riding you are into, a few more suggestions@

The Bikepack Canda Podcast

Cycle Systems Academy Podcast (some MTB, some road)

Fat Bike radio, even if not into fat bikes, has interviews with people like Jeff Jones

The Path Less Pedalled

I also really enjoyed Mountain Bikes Apart, they seem to have stopped making them, I don't know when or if they will be back

The MTB podcast as put above should get another vote. It's brilliant.

HookIt I think is really good, the EWS or bust are my favourite ones tbh!!

Vital are ok, but if I don't have time these are the ones that are skipped.

The downtime I've listened to are good, but again I just don't have the time.

The others mentioned above I've tried, but we're not for me.

nah he (HKT) has dabbled in the past but he said in a recent podcast he doesnt even own a bike any more...

the EWS or Bust eps should be a good insight, and they were at first. but every one is pretty much exactly the same now and that guy is pretty annoying! the two of them together are too hyper for me and i find myself switching off half way through to give my ears a rest....

I like the Singletracks and Mountain Bikes Apart podcasts as they are normally about general biking and give lots of good advice and useful information, not only are they entertaining but also feel like I'm learning new stuff and stops me being too bored when driving to the next ride.
