Hi Folks

If your heading to Mallorca for some winter sun and MTB action, there is now a guidebook for the island, downloadable from: Rock and Ride Mallorca.

Interesting, but not much info there! Where in the island are most of the routes? Are they all over Soller way? Be good to give us a bit more info before I give you my money. £10 seems fairly pricey for an 11 route download, especially blind.

Yes, can you give a bit more info about where the routes are located, lengths and difficulty /types of routes.

Me and a few mates went to mallorca last year for a long weekend of biking, and it was excellent, but we got most of our routes from the internet.A decent guide book with good flowing routes would be most welcome.

We'll be back again maybe next year, but this year we're off to malaga.

Hi

There are 4 routes in the Soller Valley, 4 near Bunyola all very good natural technical trails. Two near Lluc and one near Esporles all good. This winter I'll be adding some routes for the Pollenca area and Palma.

There are also links to three videos on the website all trails from the guide and more to follow.

Do you know of any routes around the south west corner say between san telmo/andraitx and palma?

Our apartment is in that corner of the world,so anything near there would be great.

When we went in november we did the pilgrims steps down into soller, a quick loop in the hills behind puerto portals, and a loop in the hills near calvia

On Ibiza island too there is great riding. We have guide books and and a trail network but it's best to be guided to the real hidden trails...

Hi Julians
There is an area North of Palma and to the East of Calvia called Serra De Na Burguesa, got lots of scope. Should have a route sorted there in the next few months.

I tried to do a ride neat Calvia that I downloaded froma GPS site, not good! ended up a dead end at a private road.

I'd be interested to know where you went near calvia and puerto portals

I would recommend the trails near Bunyola, several days riding and all quality.
