My eyes don’t work so good.... But i don’t get on with contacts.
At the mo i’ve A pair of Oakley prescription sunnies and clear lenses...
I’d like to use goggles for DHa nd enduro racing - what, dear team, are my options?!
Funnily, I CAN get a pair of goggles over my normal non-riding glasses. However, i feel this is odd!
Do Oakley/100% make prescription inserts??
DrP
Have you had a look at RX Sport
100% do some that are designed to fit over glasses, which I use.
As mentioned 100% do OTG versions but I find they pinch my nose too much.
Got some Giro blok which arnt specifically made for glasses but do go over my oakley flaks and the fit is much better.
So it's trial and error I'm afraid.
My glasses shape is more Malclom X than Joe 90 and i found Oakley Crowbars to be a little wider than most and fit snugly over my gleeks. Didn't have access to the 100% ones.
I have some Oakley O2 xl goggles for snowboarding that are OTG ones. They have little cut out in the sides of the frame that fit over the glasses arms. I don't actually wear them with my glasses but have tried them over them and they seem quite comfy.
They may do the same or similar frames for MTB.
Oakley L Frames are designed to fit over glasses. They are not bad, depends on the glasses as to how comfy it is, ie do the straps press on the legs etc.
As someone who used to wear glasses and ride a motorcycle I'm going to give the unpopular suggestion of not listening to what other people say but go and try some on with your glasses AND helmet. Too many variables and can be so annoying if one doesn't work with another
You can buy a prescription insert that clips in to goggles. I wear one in my snowboarding goggles, should work fine for bike goggles. Similar to this.
