Anyone rigged up a mud guard to cover a 26inch 2.35 tyre to stop all the mud getting sprayed on the kids in the trailer?

Sks beavertail xl is almost full length.. Whether it's got enough coverage for a trailer.. Unsure.. And a 2.3 tyre might be pushing it a bit width wise too.. Maybe switch to a 2.1 on the back?
