Good morning all.
I'm after a set of rigid carbon forks for a build to consume 'shed-stock'. Straight or tapered steerer, 27.5 or 29 and ideally taking a 15 x 100 axle.
Will be going onto a path/gravel type bike.
Anything better than Wolf or Toseek via ebay for the price?

My very old Magura Menja forks finally gave up the ghost on my commuter/pub bike a few weeks ago so I thought a set of Exotic rigid carbons made a lot more sense than another set of suspension forks. I was lucky that a mate (hi Tom!) had an immaculate pair kicking about after a message on our MNPR Whatsapp group, so maybe have a look for a second hand set?
I had to take the 205mm rotor off and swap it for a more modest 160mm (they say 180mm maximum). They're lovely things and are adjusted to fit a frame that was running 130mm suspension forks. I've been out on it a few times and you don't half notice the flex when braking hard downhill compared to a suspension fork, but they're so much lighter and I think they look great as the carbon weave on them is pretty much the same as my USE carbon bars. Pimpy! 🙂
I wouldn't look past the Exotic ones linked above. My mate has a pair on an old Whyte 19 frame that must be 15-odd years old, still going strong.
I had a set of Toseek ones for a while, no complaints other than they made a really disturbing cracking noise on drops. It wasn't the carbon, it was just the brake hose clanging against it, but enough to make me let out a little poop of fear the first few times 😂 . Sold them on nd never heard anything more so presumably they either killed the new owner or they were also happy with them.
I did look into it at the time (I think it shows it on the test certificates in the listings?) and they're just another brand name thought up by one of the factories that have been selling direct for a couple of decades now, so it's not some flybynight operation.
I have a super clean 15x100 Exotic monocoque tapered fork for sale in the classifieds - PM if interested...
Exotic are great, I'd recommend them as well
If you are trying to go as cheap as possible, I have some Cairn Brave adventure forks (470mm long, 55mm offset), which you prob don't want as they are boost and aluminium... but I'll happily let them go for £20 at this point
Running a Toseek for 5 years, absolutely no problem - cheaper, lighter and stiffer than the Ritchey forks they replaced.
Genuine question, why would a Chinese-made fork from a UK seller be superior to one from a Chinese seller?
