I'm looking at fitting a carbon fork to my FF29 and repurposing it as a **sighs** hybrid.

I'd like to go with a carbon fork - either 15mm or qr but I'd like it not to require a new mortgage.

I'd also like to go with something other than non branded ebay stuff.

Any suggestions?

Cheers,

Mark

Carbon Cycles have a good reputation so if you are over their weight limit I wouldn't go buying no-brand stuff of eBay.

Perhaps a steel fork would be better?

What's the difference between the 3K weave Exotic forks and their UD versions (it's not the most informative website)

EDIT - just the look of the outer layer. Answered, Ta

If it's being used as a hybrid, does being over the limit matter? I'd have thought it would be within the working limits

Another vote for Exotic here- in fact I think it's maybe the same vote as Scotroutes since he bought my old ones.

Fwiw i've ridden exoctic straight leg forks fork for few year and at +100kg am no light weight.
Used them single speeding bouncing around the woods and now have them on the commuter.

For the money i cant fault them.
