Mrsstu has decided to treat her self to a new bike.
She's had a Stumpy Evo for the last three years and really likes it as a general do everything bike so has gone for the newer version in carbon.
Stumpy Evo Carbon Expert in size S4.
The guys at RaceCo Cycles have managed to get one for her well ahead of the original delivery date of later in the year.
It's all stock for now apart from swapping the Sram brakes for Saints and Invisiframe kit. She really doesn't get on with Sram brakes.
Going to give the stock tyres a couple of rides but suspect they'll be swapped for Assegai Maxxgrip/DHRMaxxterra pretty quickly.
Doesn't arrive with us until next week as we now live too far away from the shop to drop in and pic it up.
More pics to follow once it's dialled in for her and looking less new.

very nice! my buddy has one and loves it. Very light for the type of bike it is too,

Can i ask how tall she is? As S4 is fairly lengthy... is it not?

Looks nice. Im a big fan of Saints but left the Codes on my Turbo Levo to see and so far they are on par with the Saints. They felt good at Inners over the weekend but the our Alps trip will be the decider. We do have a spare set of Saints in the van just in case. I went with the S3 which is a tad longer than my medium Levo but a bit shorter than my Enduro.

That looks ace. Didn't fancy a coil out back?

Your gabions aren't properly aligned...

Very nice.

It either needs black fork stickers or yellow shock stickers.

Rocks and gabions belong to RaceCo so I take no responsibility for them.
Good to see standards aren't slipping on here though. 😁

As S4 is fairly lengthy… is it not?

Its exactly the same reach as her current Evo and a fair bit shorter than her Geometron.

Didn’t fancy a coil out back?

It'll get ridden as is for now and the Float X Performance isn't a bad shock.
First suspension upgrade will probably be an Andreani piston kit in the fork.

Dom. Give us a shout when you have dates.

It either needs black fork stickers or yellow shock stickers.

Fork stickers and graphics aren't to her taste either but I think sorting the ride is more important than a couple of stickers.

I'd love to have a crack at the new one, the first version of the Stumpy Evo was such a hoot to ride.

Is there a new version out? A mark 2?

Yep, more sizes, you can adjust the head angle via an angle-set and has a flip chip on the rear chainstays - which used to be on the rear shock on the first one IIRC.

Yay it's arrived.
Just got it built up and half set up.
Still need to cut the bars down, get the fork working a bit better and see how shit the standard tyres are.
They've done a good job on the Invisiframe and everything looks good to go.
They even threw in some new Burgtec pedals which weren't part of the deal.
Cheers Rich if you're reading this.

See if Mrsstu can manage to sneak out later tomorrow to try and get it dialled in a bit for her.
