Hi all,

Has anyone ridden back to back the Pipedream Moxie vs the Hello Dave. This is with regards to the largest sizes on both.

I have a Hello Dave and its been such a great bike but I'm thinking about trying a Moxie. I think the BB drop, shorter stays and the fact that its a bit lighter will be where I will notice the difference.

Cheers

Pretty sure this exact discussion was had last week. TL;DR buy a Moxie, especially in pink 😉

Not sure if there are any in stock anywhere but I really liked the look of the Kona Honzo ESD when in the market for a steel 29er hardtail. And the Norco Torrent too.

Ended up getting a Ragley Big Wig as did everything I needed at a decent enough price and most importantly was in stock.

I would go for the Moxie, Squatch or Honzo ESD for no other reason than the Hello Dave is an ugly thing and appears to weigh the same as a small truck.

Also did I mention it’s ugly as sin?

I rode my Moxie (largest size) as a 650b, mullet and 29er. It was best as the latter. Defo easier to get air on than the Dave, but ultimately the Dave had more grip and control, so the Moxie got sold.
