Confident there must be loads of trails out there for me to discover. Can anyone give me a starter for ten?

Up valley, down valley, up sides of valley, down sides of valley.

Get some gloves too:

Ride up to Marsden, then ride up the Wessenden valley for a panoramic view of the ...well of the mist, basically.

Wessenden Head, blackmoorfoot. Holmfirth, holme, meltham, marsden. Not quite 10 but should give you a couple of routes.

Plenty of good bridleways going the other way across to Scammonden, then onto Norland/Barkisland/ via the Deer Park at Stainland.

Up to Scapegoat Hill, play in the quarry then head off for Outlane,

Look on Mapometer.com for local posted routes.

Hope you like climbing.....

Yea there's tons of decent off roading to be done, just put a shout out on here for a few tours when you arrive, I'm sure they'll be takers.

Dave.

I'll run a tough fast(ish) ride from Marsden on Sunday morning if anybody wants to join in? Its just up the road (if you are not familiar with the area).

Dave.
