It's possible to ride out to langsett via the TPT. You can pick a link to it from clay wheels lane in hillsborough or go through greno.
There's the classic route out of Sheffield up the porter valley ending up at lasy cannings/stanage that departs from hunters bar on Eccleshall road though. There's a fair chunk of Sheffield to get through between there and Ecclesfield though.
Sounds like parkways springs may be close to you? Not a link to the peak but a decent place for a few mid week loops
You can link bw & roads together out through the strines to get out towards ladybower, hilly but doable. You can also drop down to rivelin valley and head up towards stanage on the bw, ride Sheffield are putting a new trail in up there to open early next year
