I've got an older Kona Jake The Snake (purple with green splats). It's currently got Nokian studded tyres which I think are 700C x 40. I can't remember how much clearance there is, but I think something slightly wider might fit. Anyway, are there any decent tyres which would let me use the bike as more of a mountain bike? I've had a 'brainwave', and I'm looking into the possibility of modding the bike to do some off-roading and bike-packing.
