STAGE ONE: Saturday, 30-35km single marathon style loop.
STAGE TWO: Saturday night-time stage. Three laps of a 5km XC course.
STAGE THREE: Sunday, three laps of an extended 15km XC course.
There would be categories for teams of three and soloists only. The event would run over a 24hr period, but would not be a continuous 24hr race, so much more down time with activities in the Main Arena to enjoy.

Looks fun to me. Certainly more fun than riding round in circles for 24hrs. I've tried doing a 12hr twice in my life and ended up hating it. Love a stage race though and being able to ride my bike as fast as possible.
Have they said where ? ie not just for southerners
There’s a poll on FB between the new idea and the old format. 24hr still the most popular. Race hasn’t been sold to new owners, just a shift about.
