We've got a few days to take driving down to Verbier from tomorrow, the original plan was to stop in Chamonix for a few days, but the weather in the Alps is looking bad for the next few days.
Anyone ridden in Alsace, near somewhere like Colmar? There must be riding there, even if not uplifted! I've seen some official stuff on the tourist sites but that's possibly fireroad tours.

Not ridden there but lac blanc definitely has a bike park, and I think there is one near la bresse as well?

Some nice xc loops in the Munster valley if you like long climbs.
