Just looking for a general consensus - thinking mid-to end of May and would ideally like direct flights from Scotland (or North England at a push) - so Madeira, Canary Islands, even mainland Europe.
Does anyone have any ideas of great places to go mountain biking? As much as I don't want to splash the cash, I should really go on a proper organised mountain bike holiday as I can't be bothered to find my own way about and would want to be a social creature.
No ideas? Maybe I should find my way around Torridon instead?
I'm surprised you haven't been inundated with suggestions!! I try not to post business posts on here but feel free to email me for ideas, address in profile. M
only driven down there but superb location and surfing not too far away - Bayonne and San Sebastian airports not too far away.
Easyjet flies from Edinburgh to Geneva, that opens up a ton of locations. I think White Room are basically sold out but they'd get my recommendation normally.
Plenty of cheap Ryanair or Easyjet flights into Malaga from Glasgow.
Perfect weather in May.
Great singletrack rides during the day & lively night life on the coast at night.

Thanks for the suggestions so far! Looking into these now
highly recommend basque MTB. I flew with air France from Edinburgh which included a very short change over in Paris, was cheaper, easier and quicker than flying from England.
Just had an awesome week with Marko the legend of Ciclo Montana. Glasgow to Malaga.
I'm off to Madiera in June, not a biking holiday as such but I do hope to get a couple of rides done 😆
Slovenia? http://www.mtbpark.com
Basque as already suggested.
Loads in Spain as already suggested
Lake Garda?

Portugal
Tenerife
Verbier, my fav 😆
Cool, doesn't look too shabby at all, thanks for all the information.
