i see no moutainbiker and to be honest it is a perfectly valid complaint.
There is a section of one of the national cycle routes near where i work, thought i would try it on the
commute, the surface is crushed slate and pea gravel, it would be interesting maintaining momentum on a mountain bike, however i was on a road bike at the time and it was pain, completely impractical if your trying to get from a to b quickly.

Bloody farmers uses the cycle path alongside my local bypass the nuggets, massive amounts of mud & crap all over the cycle path, annoying when on road bike
