Going away to Crete next week and taking the bike. Are there any good insurance firms that cover the cost of breaking me or the bike? Can get me covered fairly easy but want to make sure I can replace the bike if it gets damaged. Or should I be looking to do both seperately?

Getting travel insurance which covers your bike will not be easy. Most have exclusions for "sporting equipment while in use" or similar.
Best to insure it under your home/contents cover.
