Wessex Orienteering Club are running a mountain bike orienteering (MTBO) event this Saturday in Rempstone Forest on the Isle of Purbeck. Only special equipment you need a map board made out of a bit of wood, a couple of cable ties, and a bulldog clip to hold your map on the bars. I always carry a compass but hardly ever use it, so you could probably get away without bothering if you've not got one, or scav one off the organisers.

£7 to enter if you pre-register. Usual winning times are around 1 and a half hours on the longest course.
