You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Trying to take my mind of my god damned injury by thinking ahead to July and being in the Alps!
Rode la Bourgeoisie (sp?) last year down from les Gets to both Samoens and Verchaix, didn't find enough time to seek out other, similar descents in the area (more a case of LET'S DO THAT AGAIN!) but keen to find a couple of others in the area.
What says the collective wisdom?
Mosettes to Lindarets via le Lac Vert
col de la Basse to Essert Rommand via les Bois Noirs.
both great descents. Other routes are more XCish and you'd need to plan to climb.
Maybe the col de la Golese to Samoens decent but you'd need to climb up there from the Lac des Mines d'Or first.

Stoner's suggestions are good. In addition, the Chapelle du Janquicourt ride is well publicised but can be made a bit more fun again by riding the rooty trail directly opposite the chapel door.
If you can face the Col de Cou climb (perhaps 'easier!' from the Swiss side) close to the summit, on the Swiss side there is a trail contouring over to the Arete du Berroi. Short but fun. Once at the crucifix on the ridge there is 'allegedly' a continuation trail along the ridge and down to Barme.
The descent from Col du Bassacheaux- Roulaines- La Barme- Ardent is steep, fast and sketchy/ scary in places. I was glad to reach the valley floor intact.
Enjoy.
