So I know this isnt everyones idea of fun or cup of tea but have any of the regulars to Morzine (pre 2020 🙂 Tackled Les Hauts Forts with a bike if so did you hit it from Avoriaz or from The town after a riding trek up ?
I have never got around to it but it seems like a good day out. Plan was to come back to Avoriaz.
It's quite a challenging walk. Not sure I'd fancy it with a bike. As a walk it's from avoriaz down to morzine.
As a walk/ hike were looking at around 7-8 hours up and down either way. Id be looking at going from Avoriaz via the steep scramble and ride back down to Morzine for a very very stiff drink. Obviously and a wind free day.
So Steve what I think is sounds like a very hard walk/carry up and a straight line back down checking ones undies👍🏻
I say give it a go video it and report back 😉
