You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I've just seen flights this morning for under 100 quid to morocco and always fancied heading there for a weeks riding.
I've had a look at guided tours and they seem pretty expensive around £850 per person.Just wanting advice on companies to use and if staying in marrakech is it possible to just book guided one day tours as what I've see on net so far is companies just offering a full package inc, food etc.
Cheers
Thought about taking your touring bike, roads a plenty tarmac and land rover tracks (Piste).great place for this.
Wouldn't ride a bike in Marrakesh though-mental. Sling your bike on a taxi and get to quieter roads.
Don't really fancy that as really want to go for some technical natural descents.
Thanks for reply though.
check out Ciclo Maroc. Our group used them last year and had a great time (been riding with Ciclo in Spain for 19 years so trusted them for the Morocco trip).
Not used them but passed this place whilst trekking a few years ago. Its in imlil which is in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains.

We were there a year ago & like you wanted to organise a couple of days riding. We booked bikes & a guide with Argan Tours riding near Asni. It was good, love the riding, fair bit of single track. Not that technical but great fun. It was expensive - European prices, but the guide & driver for sure weren't getting Euro pay - which grated a bit, particularly after we'd been there for a few days & tuned in to the local prices. Turns out that most of the guiding companies are American or European. I think Imlil mtb are local. Imlil is spectacular, and I reckon there would be some amazing riding. Really keen to go back........
Good riding is a wee way out of Marrakech in the Atlas Mountains, so you'll need some transfers but it is possible. Experienced and qualified guides aren't as cheap as you might think! And many will be earning as much as guides in a lot of European countries. I can't recommend any particular daytrip organisers though as we only do longer tours there.
Imodium and plenty of wet wipes according to a mate and 5 others who went last year .
Ciclo Maroc - Marko is hooked up with local guides, great riding & proper travel experience. Wet wipes are always good to have 😉
Freeridemorocco is good and includes a day off in Marrakech at the end.
Can't remember how much it was though.
