You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Hi all.
Just a quicky, a friend of mine has organised an off road challenge on Saturday the 14th July. MontyTrax is 26 miles - or 15 if you dont fancy sweating too much - of lovelyness in the hills around Llanfyllin, North Montgomeryshire. A little road, some footpaths (With permission of course), and otherwise unacessable private land plus a purpose made woodland section especially for the event. Here is the blurb from the site.
"After the success of 2017 we are excited to announce our 2018 event. The route will be similar to last year with a few new treats, catering to both serious off-roaders and the more laid back rider. For those the want to tackle the full challenge, the route will weave through around 30 miles of undulating terrain, 5300 feet of climb with technical sections to add a bit of spice. There is also an half distance route with 3000 feet of climb with slightly gentler terrain.
All profits from the event go towards our ultimate aim of developing cycling horse riding and walking in the surrounding areas. This will be more than just a great mountain bike challenge but a great family day out. There will be ‘Go Ride’ skill challenges, circuits and races for kids of all ages (3-16). Come and enjoy!"
