Arranging a club outing next year for road cycling around Mont Ventoux.

Looking for accommodation ideas please - a hostel seems the most appropriate as there'll be about 10 of us.  Would like secure bike storage and (ideally) a small pool for the end of each day.  Anyone any knowledge or recommendations please ?

Thanks all

http://www.coquillade.fr is amazing but silly expensive and a little bit south of Ventoux.

But is purpose set-up for cyclists.

Not in the hostel category!

I did stay In buis les baronnies a few years ago and they have a nice municipal pool. Lovely village and very close to Ventoux.

I've still got to get to Ventoux but I found this thread for accommodation, here;

We stayed in a couple of Air bnb’s in Le Beaux, which is up a bit from Bedoin on route to Ventoux.

No pool, but it’s a beautiful village with a nice bar/restaurant. Close enough to walk into Bedoin and taxi back.

If there a number of you, you could take a look at Le Logis du Chateau in Vaison-La-Romaine

https://www.link.voyage/provence/vaison-la-romaine.html

I stayed there as part of a group at the end of our Alp D'Huez to Mont Ventoux trip.

Thanks all.

Some good places to look at - planning the stay is almost as enjoyable as the ride itself....

Mate of mine owns this place

Near (ish) Ventoux. He’s a big rider, place is well set up for riders visiting.

Gite St Julien in Buis les Baronnies ticks the boxes. Half a dozen of us stayed there over a weekend in May: pool, plenty of beds, half-board with an option for a packed lunch. It's a working farm, both the lamb and the apricots served on the table were their own produce.

You may want to forget the tarmac bucket list exercise and just bring your mtb, because the trails north of Ventoux are pretty damn good; out of the front door of the gite you can ride straight up to 1100m and take 15km of single-track down to the valley floor (who wants to ride up a loong road, surrounded by belgian tourists?)

We stayed here in June, houses 16 plus has a pool and they do a mean breakfast. Weirdly enough you can buy a new car there at the same time.

Great place, really nice owners and accomodation

there is bike storage in an open-doored barn but there isn't anyone within miles and we didn't suffer any losses
