I've just upgraded to a new Fox Fork with post mount brake mounts as opposed to the IS mount on the old fork. The front brake now squeals badly in the dry and the sintered pads glaze easily. New pads, rotor cleaned carefully etc. I never had this problem in 4+ years on the old fork and never had any problems with set up.
I wonder if the relationship between the rotor and calliper is subtly different on the PM system as the PM face is painted over and it will take a few wet and gritty rides to bed in or maybe a new rotor?
Any advice will be gratefully received.
