Seriously considering one for my next bike and it seems to tick all the boxes.

It will be my 'do it all' bike and will replace my Patrol. Does anyone here own one? How do you get on with it?

I had a look at them in sprocket cycles. They look awsome. Probably best looking bike out at the moment. The only downside is that they are expensive. Fox 36 and a fox coil shock was £7500 i think. The cheapest was £4500 ish

Looking at the RR which is a 36 and a DPX2, just shy of 6k which is eye watering.

But it is an insurance replacement. Nothing else floats my boat at the moment. My only worry is getting a 150mm dropper on a medium. It's specced with their own 125mm dropper as standard and looking at the seatpost I'd struggle to get a 150 dropper in there. I'm hoping my 32" inseam would let me squeeze one in.

Can't seem to find any info re standover either.

Pinkbike seemed to think the seat tube was almost too short, be surprised if you couldn't manage a 150 dropper.

Looks a stunning bike.

I have one, had it since early July. Foxy R frame and forks, built with my own choice of kit. Ridden it ~40 hours in the alps, ~30 hours in Scottish steep stuff.

Have a 160mm Bikeyoke Revive seatpost, goes in just fine as long as you remember to aim the cable stop at the correct side of the bike for the cable guides that are on the drive-side of the split seat tube. Size medium frame.

Pinkbike review is pretty spot on. It rewards confident and aggressive riding. Goes round tight corners as well as every other bike I've had, but this might depend on what type of rider you are.

honourablegeorge, found that review after you mentioned it, that was a big help thanks. After reading it, he was using a 125mm dropper just above it’s insertion mark with a slightly longer inseam than mine so a 150 should be spot on for me.

Ordered the RR this afternoon, can’t wait.

Sounds great Dougal, what shock are you running on yours?

Definitely going to try and demo one this year, the geo looks spot on except for maybe a slightly tall BB. The prices are eye watering though, would only consider this time next year where you can get about 20-25% off the previous years models.

Re. seatposts, check out the oneup dropper, the stack height on that is a good inch lower than some of the others on the market!

Fox Float DPX2 Performance. Does the job, even has enough adjustability to make it play nice with my light weight.
