Planning a trip to Geneva with a mondeo estate hire car, does anyone known if bikes in bags will fit in with rear seats up, ie will 4 adults and bike bags fit ? Thanks in advance

Just measured mine - Mk3 Mondeo Estate.

44.5" between arches (maybe 45" just), 80" long.

Plus as I've mentioned before on here, 4 bikes fit in the boot with the rear seats up if you take wheels and pedals off and straps the mechs to the chainstays

I have a mondeo estate and to fir 4 adults and bike bags - I think you will be lucky with that.
Maybe if you take them out of the bags
Any 29ers ??

But careful of overloading, French and Swiss feds very hot on things like that. Four people + bikes + gear in one car? #justsaying

NO they won't fit, or maybe you could do a trial run.

Two smaller cars might be the better solution then! 🙂

don't take the bike bags, get some cardboard to sandwich between the bikes. (lbs bike box) wheels and pedals off you should be ok.
things like helmets take up a lot of room, so pad them out with cloths.
