I guess so. No mega ups or downs from memory.

Actually, I kind of relying on somebody who knows where they are going turning up as I haven’t got a clue.

Very CX-able. After last weeks slog through a bog, given that its presently bucketing down ... AGAIN.... we'll be staying on the hardpack...

A couple of us are riding out that way later this afternoon, so I'll reccie conditions

Cool, not that bothered about the CX but I'm having to justify ownership if you know what I mean so I *may* have to bring it out instead of the full suss thing.

No chance. I've got a meeting in Oxfordshire til 4pm so the chances of me making it through the M40/M6 rush hour in time are pretty much zero.

The week after is unlikely too as I have meetings in Cumbria and Newcastle. I'm like a bloody travelling salesman at the minute. On the plus side I'll have clocked up enough mileage expenses to buy a new bike 🙂

Any chance of a tuesday or wednesday night pub ride this week? 😆

I'm in Warrington for a course, could manage either or both nights, far preferable to chatting with other course delegates...

Looking unlikely for me now. I've about 7 squllion things to do for Rammy Festival this weekend. Including a risk assessment?! A risk assessment?!!! WTF is that about?!!! Its elfandsafety gorn maaaaaaaad, I tell you!

I won't do you the disservice of referring to this as 'work', but it still all needs doing. Poor me! 🙁

Wednesday is a possibility. Drop me a mail mate (email in profile). Could well be a plan if I can make some headway on this mountain of stuff to do

Hoping I'll be there. Not that I know where I'm going, so I hope someone does.

Ideal terrain for a 150mm beast then, right?

And don't forget that NEXT Monday is Cycle Speedway Monday... If you know, you know... 😉

If we don't get anybody who knows where we are going I've printed off some maps of the route that we did last time, to avoid "being at home to Mr 4cup".

Rammy Daz is out (one of the many Baz, Gaz, and Daz's), and knows his way round the reservoirs. I did that route the other night. All I'd say is that if you've not ridden it this year, since the floods, don't assume that because there used to be a bridge somewhere, that there still is.

OK. Note to self : Don't ride over the bridge that isn't there.

Always makes me homesick when I see that ride 😥
But only long enough for me to remember doing cross country around the jumbles and wayoh resis 😆

Have a good one!

Uneventful, in a good way. Lovely conditions and no incidents apart from taking a wrong turn in the first 200m.

Last time we did it we suffered from all sorts of failures ranging from punctures to iced up mechs and a fractured sense of humour.

Was that you that we met in the pub car park?

Sorry I couldn't make it. Had an attack of the fatigues...

Cycle Speedway is next Monday, they're expecting us. I'll email round the usual people who are already in, but let me know if there are any dropouts as I'm sure there are a few more last minuters...
