Church Inn Prestwich
8:15 blast off
Bring beer money, lights and all the other bits and bobs that you need for a push bike ride in the woods.

Great Minds are thinking up a new route at this very moment that may, or may not, include “Tricky Corner”, “Nob End” and “Itchy and Scratchy”.

"Not Quite Calderdale", "Surprise Fence Post", "James Mason" and "Jimmy Green Teeth" may also be included.

How could we possibly leave out The Bolton Shitworks?

I like the way they're including bits of the shitworks plumbing externally, in the surrounding woods at the moment. A bit like an avant garde coutryfied shite-filled Lloyds building

And for that reason.... I'm in!

Righty-ho…

Terrahawk may not be out due to leaky plumbing (bathroom, not an old age thing). Leaving me as your guide.

Provisional route.

Hurst Wood
Monolith
Canals
James Mason
Prestolee Climb
Children of The Corn
Unimaginatively Named Woodland DH
Poo Factory
Clifton Cheekies (now fully reopened… I think)
Pilkies

Doesn't look like I'm going to be able to make it tonight chaps. After spending the weekend being coughed, sneezed and spluttered on by the flu-ridden better half, This morning I woke up with the house resembling this....

🙁

Good run fellas.

I'll try and get there too if I can sort out my forks.

Handling was interesting with 5" on the back and 0.03" on the front! Thought I was going to spit my knackers out when I klunked that wet root.

I'm definitely up for the Strawberry Duck next week. I suspect the regular Rammy Posse will be too. I'll even charge my lights up this time.

Harry - haven't you just sorted the back end of that thing out? Or is it now finely balanced with nackered suspension both ends?

Thanks Andrew for some soggy, gritty fun. Oh and the hilarious 'dying of consumption' act in the pub after.

Tactical innit. Fake a near death exerience at the bar until somebody buys you a drink. 😉 Thanks Ross.

It is to do with whatever they clean the loos with. The last 3 times I have been in there have had me barking like a seal. Perhaps my subconscious is trying to impress the girl behind the bar.
