You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
After a couple of years sterling work organising the MNPR rabble, Gaz (gaze) has decided to take a well-earned break from setting up our BMX jaunts to the NCC Indoor track. Harry The Spider and me are going to try to step into his Five Tens and we've got some dates and prices lined up for the next session, hopefully in March. There's space for sixteen riders, we have a basic mailing list of most people who've been before, but we don't want to miss out anyone who's interested.
A two hour session now works out at £21.25 each. Unfortunately the National Cycling Centre have had to put the cost of track hire up by a hundred quid or so, but we reckon that's still a good deal. You get all the kit included (bike, pads, full-face helmet, etc) and two hours riding on an Olympic-level BMX track, inside, away from all the rain, wind and mud. Sessions are on a Monday evening, 8pm-10pm. You can bring your own kit too. All abilities are welcome, there's a coach on hand to offer pointers, it's a good workout and will help your bike handing skills, and we're all dead friendly. It's ace!
So, if you're interested please email me so I can add you to the list: mintimperial at gmail dot com, include your name somewhere and put "MNPR BMX" as the subject, ta.
Seriously, if you fancy it you need to get your name on the list.
Organising this sort of thing can be a proper ball ache, so we need mailing list to avoid extra bodies turning up or people not showing at all and leaving the organisers in the lurch and owing money.
Once we have sufficient numbers we’ll get a date fixed.
As Tom has already said it is a brilliant night out and, so far, nobody has been killed to death.
I am already on zee list. And definitely up for it. Do we get to do this.....
😉
Has the new bike got you into trouble yet?
I still think you should have let Hans Rey ride it down that staircase Harry! 😀
Has the new bike got you into trouble yet?
Only because I built it up in the kitchen.
There hasn’t been a dry weekend in the 7 weeks that I’ve had it for me and The Boy to go out and play on it.
I won’t be taking it to the NCC until I’m sure that it won’t catapult me screaming through the Gates of Valhalla.
So, just to be clear, if we think we're on the mailing list already, do you still want us to e-mail you just to be sure?we have a basic mailing list of most people who've been before, but we don't want to miss out anyone who's interested.
Provisionally, I'll come in March.

Sorry, should have said: the BMX mailing list is not the same as the MNPR general mailing list. This is to avoid spamming non-BMXerists with 40-spoke 20" waffle they don't want to hear.
If you've not received an email from me this morning about this and want in then email me. In fact, if you're just not sure, email me, I don't want anyone missing out!
E-mail sent 😀
Mailed you mint.
Ta. e-mail on the way!If you've not received an email from me this morning about this and want in then email me. In fact, if you're just not sure, email me, I don't want anyone missing out!

Top stuff. Lots of interest already, cheers folks. If you've emailed me today you should all get an email back from me saying I've added you to the list, by the way. We'll take a look at dates and whatnot and get a mail out to everyone soon.
I'm up for that again.I did'nt go to one last year and they've changed the track recently.
