Any one any routes ( off road) from Moffat to st Mary's loch ,fancy riding in the area with jnr

I've walked that section of the SUW a few years back there is a brillinat bothy halfway along. My mates were walking to the end but I was only doing the weekend so i carried a full curry including starters for 3, 2 litres of port and cheeses.

Thought it would make a good ride especially the bit in the photo above

I used to walk it, and many of the places around there, before I was into cycling, 25 years ago
From Loch Fell, on a good day, you could see the power station on the Solway Firth, 60 miles away

Cheers once again guys .my sons nearly 12 .hes's fairly fit and got good bike skills .like the sound of the bothy could make an adventure of it .
