So, that's at least a couple of spare places - so I reckon if you wanted to come but weren't on the original list, then just come on down anyway and pretend to be someone else. It's only £3.50...

Is it possible to come and watch ? I have never heard of Cycle Speedway before and I finish work not far from the track at about 7.30 tommorow.

Only if you dress as a cheerleader - big glittery Pom poms and everything - and have developed an athletic dance routine to cheer us all on 😀

I used to medic at Poole speedway.
That's a good way to get dizzy.
I thought for a moment you were having a go on the bikes. That would certainly end in death.
Then I realised it's push bikes. Less risk of death, though still a possibility.

Great evening out. Happy to organise another one in a few months when the scars (physical and mental) have healed. Oh, and £3 a pint or less!

Whilst I remain intact as a result of the cycling the one pint of Holt’s bitter that I had afterwards has utterly destroyed my plumbing. 🙁

Wasn't it mad to see a drinking establishment so absolutely bombed out on a Monday night. Hats off to the Welfare of the Miners eh? But at 3 quid for a pint of Star, why wouldn't everyone head for the boozer 😀
