On holiday in the Pyrenees I'm afraid. Don't worry, it might rain there too.

Should this one not be called 'We need to drink beer, at any cost'?

Looks like its going to be a bit breezy. The pub will definitely be open though so who cares? 😀

50 mph winds? No thanks.

Want to put it off until next week?

Let's see how it pans out in the afternoon. Might be a giggle if we all bring a sail

We could stay off the tops and do a tour de reservoirs?

I reckon with the wind in the right direction, a pb on the Rake could be in the offing....

Morning All. I think Harry is probably right on this one. Given the weather forecast is now saying winds gusting up to 70mph in the north-west this evening, we'd be better knocking this one on the head until next week

Let's say the same venue next week. The route I had planned would be a bit hairy in high winds.

I've sent an email out too. But let anyone know who isn't on 'zee list'

Ah, very wise I think. Couldn't have made it anyway due to dad-taxi duties tonight, but should be out next week.

Sod the conditions indeed 😆

Seriously though, good call. I came back from the weekend with an extremely dodgy back so probably wouldn't have made it anyway. And I've got a bagful of wet and muddy kit to wash.

I think we can make an exception for hurricanes.

I'm suffering from alps induced injury.

Might try a ride up the pike though

Just back from a Rivi Pike, Winter Hill, Great Hill loop. It's a bit breezy 🙂

It's sounding a bit wild out there now! 😯

On a positive note, according to the long-range weather forecast, it looks like we've got high winds but not much rain for the week, so it might actually dry out a bit up on't moors
