Any ideas?

I’m not out on Monday because

a) My bike is worn out and I need some new bits

and

b) I’m tapering*

*grounded due to imminent family holiday

I'd be interested in a Tod based ride.

I could probably do Tod, would need someone to lead the way though

I can lead a Tod ride if no one else wants to.

Shepherds Rest, OL14 6JJ. 8.15pm

Bring climbing legs (as always for Tod) and an adventurous outlook 🙂

Glad I can't make it. Stoodley Pike was the scene of my pre-holiday wrist break.

Have fun.

Actually I'm no longer in; combination of tired legs from today's CVMBC plus broken bike.

As is traditional whenever I offer to lead a ride, the preceding extended period of good weather is replaced by a biblical downpour. So are we going to prove our northern hardness or sack it off until next week? I am at your mercy.

Silence. Anyone? Or are we putting this one down as a "Turton"?

i'm not going out in this!

Not again anyway. My gloves are still soaked from this morning and it was properly cold.

I'm still a bit broken from Dyfi and the subsequent killer-cold-from-hell. Going to need a lot more wine to get back up to fighting strength. Next week, hopefully.

Right, lets postpone til next week. In the interests of preserving the trails of course. It's p*ssing it down here in manc, which probably means it'll be 5 times worse in Tod.

I'll go for a pint after work instead 🙂

On the plus side all this rain might help fill up our new garden pond and save me some money on the water meter.

I'm going to find it a lot easier to sack it off than get motivated, so that's good with me. It's drizzling in Sowerby Bridge, after the last few weeks, I don't do wet any more!
Will be out tomorrow though Daz, less roads and moaning than Thursday if you're about
