Started to build up a mk1 soul today but then noticed that the brake hose guides are cylindrical and i would have to break the hoses to fit the rear brake. I've only just bled my brakes so really dont want to have to break the hoses. Are there any neat and tidy DIY fixes to avoid breaking the hose?

Depending on your brake you can get away without a rebleed. I've managed it on a set of hopes and a set of avids.
