You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
While trapped in the garage yesterday I dragged out an old Corbea aluminium frame which is super light and proceeded to build a lightweight singlespeed. The frame has v-brake mounts on the seat stays but I have a pair of forks that can take discs and a spare set of front disc brakes.
Can I use disc on the front and v-brakes on the back (with suitable rims)?
So far the bike feels very light and it still has a square taper BB (swapping for hollowtech) and a few other trial bits that will be swapped out.
Ta.
It's fine, you only really need the front anyway

Kinda figured it should be but wanted to make sure I had not missed anything obvious. Suppose it's just like having discs and drums on cars and motorbikes.
Cheers.
