So, I have an Avid R lever and an Avid 5 caliper. Can these be used together? Whats the worst that can happen?

I've mixed up some Avid Frankenbrakes in the past, not a problem at all. Juicy 7 levers, Code calipers. They are still working a treat three years down the line.
