Something small enough to go with a multi tool, that will do for standard MTB bolts - so maybe 8mm to around 16mm I guess.
Are there any bolts on MTB's anymore?
The only nuts/bolts I can thnink of are bleed nipples and;
a) alloy, not something I'd considder taking an adjustable spanner to.
b) not really a trailside fix
c) 7mm for hope at least.
I've had a set of Bahco Adjustable spanners for about 20 years and they have been regularly used and still all work perfectly. They aren't the cheapest, but they work and they last. And they come in a decent range of sizes.
Not that I've ever needed to use them on my bike.
Yep, otherwise I wouldnt need a wrench. Over the last year I've need one for;
Replacing drop out on a Trek Fuel
Tightening the banjo bolt on some X2 calipers
Fiddling with a shock mount
For a tag-along
Adjusting a cheap saddle on a friend's bike
...OK, so not many, and maybe not an esential tool, but looking for stocking fillers!
Bahco
King Dick then.
...I only asked 😉
you want a good old-fashioned Cool Tool-had mine for years and bombproof. Bit heavy but no more than some of the other multi's out there. If multi tool isn't needed then Bahco
+1 bahco
Draper.
Bahco.
+ 4 for Bahco. I've had mine for nearly thirty years. Handy when you dont have a proper combination spanner to hand.
