Looking for a wee bit of advice , My son has got half decent on the bike so as he has started racing I thought Id buy a suitable motor. I bought a 16 plate peugot partner tepee ( A blingo with another badge). I can get 3 bikes and 3 people easily for everyday use. My mate who isnt a biker bought the £399 conversion kit and goes away with his Mrs in his blingo and seems really happy.Im thinking of buying the same kit but dont want to leave the bikes outside.
I think I could possibly take both wheels off and put both frames in the front over the two front seats and stash the wheels somewhere.

Does anyone do likewise. ??

Might be the only way. Will be a bit untidy though (and will need covers/a tarp for the seats I guess). Big roof box for the disassembled bikes might be better?

The boot jump style conversions for the Berlingo do look cool though.

I’d be tempted to put them on a rack, either roof or tow bar, and get some decent chains. Not ideal but I reckon you’ll struggle to get them inside, unless it’s only very occasional I think it would drive you mad moving them about.

Tent and good sleeping bags, leave bikes in car and get a good sleep under canvas.

I had a mini camper Peugeot Pertner… but it most cases I found a pop-up tent to be quicker and more convenient, with more space.

I've got a mini camper. Delica based. Its a little bigger than belingo but not much. The bed is basically a sheet of timber raised high enough to clear the wheel arches. That gives quite a lot of space underneath. Enough for two bikes (with wheels off), camp chairs, inflatable boat, bike accessories, and a few supplies. It is a faff to pack/unpack the bikes though.

It was a quick and cheap conversion as it is just a temporary set up for occasional trips away. Most of the time we use the car as intended.

How about a False floor in the back with a large slide out kitchen and bikes above. Then get a roof tent for sleeping in. Rig up a large awning in case of bad weather and way to go. A good second hand roof tent can be had for a few hundred if you shop around

I can't see that being easy or comfy,2 of you living inside a small van with bikes ,kits etc. I've had a van ( Caddy) and it been fantastic and practical for 20 years but I choose a tent or pod option for travelling round .

Surely a driveway awning with beds in would be a good solution, coupled with a heater and rotating front seats in the vehicle?

Relatively cheap, bikes stay secure in vehicle, bit more room to move. I'd knock up a simple kitchen box to cook in awning.
