What's that cheap alternative to Shimano oil that can be had in Halfords? Citroen Hydraulic Oil, something like that?
Want to get a decent sized container of it, all I can find locally is 125mls of the Bikehut stuff. I spilled that amount on the ground earlier when my tube came off the syringe.

Ta. Seen it suggested that it's more viscous than shimano stuff - anyone else find this an issue?
I use LHM. Can't say I've noticed a difference. You can try it and if it it doesn't feel right it's cheap and easy to flush through. I have read that BMW mineral power steering fluid is good but apparently that is more expensive than Shimano fluid
