I managed a run around my local park this morning, but somehow it's just not quite the same.

I'm currently gazing out of the window and wishing it were the weekend already so that I can jump on the bike and head to the Surrey Hills.

Not slacking, but the bro in law came over to have a chat to Mrs P so I left them to it for an hour or so. Lovely evening for it, went for a little blat over a lesser used bit of the chase.

Every Wednesday we have a meet at a local(ish) BMX track - Cumbernauld/Broadwood track. Gives an opportunity to practice pumping and jumping with an added bonus of a great cardio work out. There are a few 4X pro riders on hand to give advice. Its organised through facebook and there are discounts available from sponsors if you are into what they offer. Its great for kids

Spent all afternoon lying on the cliffs out at the coast, barely a hint of a sea breeze which was very nice, (kirkcudbright, sw scotland), 24dg and hot, i felt very mediterranean as i had my camelback packed with water n' ice and two cans of gin n' tonic, a book, and a couple of J's.

Very pleasant afternoon, followed by a coastal bimble back home on the bike 😀
