Just how much do you get in the housing compared to how much sprays around the outside or back in your face? Is there anything better than GT85 to squirt in there?
I find the GT85 straw fits in perfectly and I don't get any spay 😀 except the run out from the end of the cable of course.
I wonder if It's my straw or my oilers that are at fault then?
You have got the right size oiler, haven't you? They come in 5mm & 4mm & should be a pretty tight fit on the outer cable.
When you move the rubber seal out the way, you should be able to see the inner cable through the hole and then make sure you're pushing the straw all the way in. As JT says, the only spray you should be getting is from the end of the cable.
Yep, 4mm with sp41. I can see the hole. Have them angled to access the hole easily.
Strange - works fine for me with no spray aside from the cable ends. Great little system.
I even cut the straw to give a fresh end in case it was damaged.
