I'm in the process of building a bike (well buying the bits), and I am looking at a Middleburn crankset. Don't know the benefits of either getting an ISIS BB or tapered. Can anyone give me some pointers as to which is best and recommend a BB to match? (It's going on a Cube Fritzz if that makes a difference?)

Later generation ISIS BBs have, I believe, improved greatly on the first gen stuff. I went through 3 BBs in a little over a month when I tried it back in 2003.

I use Square taper on my middleburn, mainly because I dont jump anything and I like UN72 bbs or serviceable Phil Woods etc.
